Moba Group is the recognized world leader in manufacturing machines for grading, packing, and processing eggs. With more than 1 billion eggs passing through Moba systems daily (70% of all auto-graded eggs worldwide), the company from Barneveld sets the standard in the international egg industry. Their mission is to support customers worldwide in continuously improving their business operations by developing best-value egg processing solutions.
The Challenge
Developing the world’s first partially CIP-enabled egg sorting machine brought unique technical challenges, not only for Moba’s machine design but also for the associated cleaning system. This pioneering function required a CIP system that could seamlessly integrate with Moba’s new sorting technology, ensuring both effective cleaning and preservation of sensitive egg processing.
Our Approach
Nuutro spent months developing the first prototype CIP system, followed by optimization and delivery of the improved v2 system. Our turn-key approach included complete engineering and implementation of CIP units specifically tailored to Moba’s innovative sorting machines.
While the CIP system itself was relatively straightforward from a technical perspective, the challenge lay in integration with Moba’s advanced machine architecture. Through close collaboration, we successfully addressed both challenges and delivered a fully integrated solution.
