At Nuutro, we are proud to announce a significant milestone: our collaboration with NoPalm Ingredients for the basic engineering study of their first demonstration facility. This first-of-its-kind facility will use a fermentation process to produce food-grade oil at scale, providing a sustainable alternative to palm and other tropical oils in the food and cosmetics industries.

The Challenge
Developing a first-of-its-kind demonstration facility for fermentation-based oil production requires a complete redesign of traditional production processes. From raw material intake to downstream processing and utilities – every aspect must be seamlessly integrated to achieve maximum efficiency while identifying and managing technical and operational risks.

Nuutro leads the complete basic engineering study, designing the entire process from raw material intake to final product.
